This Privacy Policy applies to cursivefont.online (“CursiveFonts”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to this policy.

1. Text you type

The cursive generator, name generator and font previews run locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your text is not sent to our servers, logged or saved. When you close the page, it is gone.

2. Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if included) and message. We use this only to reply and keep it no longer than needed to handle your request.

3. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider and services may automatically record standard log data, such as:

• IP address (which may show your approximate location)
• Browser type, device type and operating system
• Pages visited, referring website, and date and time of visit

We use this to keep the site secure, fix errors and understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to identify you personally.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We may use:

• Essential cookies needed for the site to work and stay secure
• Analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics) to count visits and see how pages are used
• Advertising cookies used by Google and its partners to show and measure ads

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The generator will still work without cookies.

• Google Fonts loads the handwriting fonts and may receive your IP address as part of a normal web request.
• Google Analytics and AdSense, as described above.
• Hosting and security providers that keep the site online and protected from abuse.

These services have their own privacy policies. External links on our site lead to sites we do not control.

7. Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and, for California residents, know what data is collected and opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email us; we will respond within 30 days.

Our legal bases for processing (for EU/UK visitors) are your consent for non-essential cookies and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.

8. Data retention and security

We keep emails only as long as needed to answer them. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form under the provider’s default retention settings. We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Children’s privacy

This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
